Colchester: Observe and Report on Wildlife

used with permission

Katherine Kosiba, Co-chair of the Community Wildlife Habitat of Colchester is calling Colchester residents to observe and report the wildlife around them. By recording the animals and plants you find around you, others will have a better understanding about the world around them that often goes unseen and unnoticed. A group of residents have already begun to answer this call and started a flickr group to share photos of what they find as they explore and marvel at the beauty of nature. Check out the excerpt of Katherine's release below as well as the flickr group. You won't be disappointed.

Wildlife Watch is a national nature watching program created by NWF for people of all ages. The Community Wildlife Habitat of Colchester team encourages individuals and families when they see wildlife on their property -- or anywhere in town -- to go to Wildlife Watch at http://www.nwf.org/wildlifewatch/ and record what they see.
